    This is my first (and so far) only experience with this fragrance house. The sake note is prominent on initial spray, by drydown on my skin there's a more musky, foresty scent which is likely the cedarwood and leather notes . Not picking up any metallic "steel sword" scents and the floral is faint on me personally. If you like boozy leather scents this'll be up your ally as it is definitely up mine.

    Love it

    I absolutely love the scent. I just wish the bottle was a bit more interesting and like a tall sleek container because it kind of looks like an egg and stands out (not in the best way) with the rest of my collection.

    If Dark Rebel were... A Moonlit Samurai

    This stuff is beautiful, and it reminds me of my favorite fragrance, Dark Rebel by John Varvatos.

    The differences here are great though, it's brighter than DR, the texture is creamier than DR, the fruity notes (similar but different), the leathery notes (similar but different), the faint hint of spice in the background (pops more than the smoke in DR). No castoreum vibe so it's cleaner overall,While the scents are similar the aura is different.

    It's a very spirited fragrance in the way that you can picture this moonlit samurai in your head just standing there... In the moonlight... Being a samurai.... Hell yeah.

    The fragrance is very unique and niche. Lovely scent that not everyone might love but i love it. Leather mineral notes sake and cedar. Love the artistry and poem that it comes with.
